Together, they offer more than 40 years of combined service supporting youth, families, educators, and organizational teams. Their complementary backgrounds ensure that their clients receive services that are research-based, practical, relational, and deeply aligned with the realities of today’s schools and communities.

Patrick Pinckney, MS

Educational Leadership, SEL, Student Intervention, and School Culture Specialist

Patrick is an educational consultant, SEL service provider, program developer, and founder of Vision for Life Consultants. With extensive experience working in public schools, he specializes in:

  • Social Emotional Learning (SEL) implementation
  • Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer
  • Trauma-informed school leadership
  • Student motivation and engagement
  • Restorative practices and behavior support systems
  • Dropout-prevention and acceleration programs for over-age, under-credited students
  • Leadership development and organizational change

Patrick most recently administered a districtwide alternative-education and acceleration program and through the years has served as a teacher, counselor, curriculum designer, and mentor to fatherless youth. His doctoral research centers on leadership practices that shape curriculum relevance and student motivation, giving him deep insight into rural education challenges and system-level school improvement.

His background in Instructional Design & Learning Technology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and leadership communication enables him to design student and adult-learning experiences that are clear, practical, and immediately transferable to school environments.

Patrick is also an accomplished author. He has published Vision for Life, The Mentor's Manual, Living the Blessed Life, and his latest work, scheduled to be released on February 14, Raised Different.

Mary brings over 28 years of experience in the people-helping profession and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA). She specializes in helping children, adults, couples, families, and professional teams navigate complex relational dynamics with clarity and confidence. Her expertise is grounded in:

  • Family systems and trauma-responsive practice
  • Emotional regulation and healing
  • Communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Relational patterns that influence behavior and performance
  • Strengthening resilience in individuals and teams

Known for her empathetic, transparent, and grounded approach, Mary provides powerful insight into how trauma, stress, and family dynamics influence student behavior and adult decision-making in schools.

Mary is also the author of three impactful works:
